New Construction Deliverables

Our goal, as the group whose focus is new construction and development, is to provide the City of Auburn the following deliverables: A final report, a calculations package, and a 20% complete set of construction documents.

The project report shall provide the City of Auburn a candid and comprehensive discussion of the project. In the project report, we will include all supplemental research conducted for the project. We will discuss the evolution of our design process, the rational for our decisions, and our ultimate vision. The objective of the final report is to educate anyone working on the project in the future about what we accomplished and learned so they can easily reference, expound upon, and utilize our work.

In addition to our project report, we will provide a calculations package. Our structural analysis will focus on issues that most threaten the feasibility of the design. Because expectations for deliverables is a 20% complete set of construction documents, we will include a summary of our assumptions made within our calculations and a summary of calculations that have yet to be completed and will need to be addressed in the future in order to bring the project design to completion.

The 20% complete set of construction documents shall include a full sized set of drawings.

Building Sections

Floor Plans

Non-Structural Details Sheets

Structural sheets shall include:

General Notes

Schedules

Foundation Plan

Framing Plan for each floor

Roof Plan

Details Sheets

It should be noted that if we choose to pursue modular construction, we will have two sets of design documents: one for construction in the factory and another for assembly in the field.
